Tour 2 Churches on the Pilgrim route
Learn more about the Celtic Saints and medieval pilgrimages following an experienced guide driving down the pilgrim route.

Starting at St. Bueno’s church in Clynnog Fawr discover the background to the medieval pilgrimages to Bardsey Island. Then follow us on the Northern route down the beautiful Llyn peninsula visiting the ancient hospice church at Pistyll, which is still decorated with herbs, and continuing on to the striking perpendicular style church of Llangwnnadl.
Arriving in Aberdaron, the last stop for pilgrims before attempting to cross the treacherous sound to Bardsey, there is free time to have lunch and explore the church of St. Hywyn or wander on the beach before we leave for Mynydd Mawr at the end of the peninsula. On a clear day there are superb views across to Bardsey Island, back up the peninsula to the Rivals and it is even possible to see the Wicklow mountains in Ireland on occasions. Spend time walking or just relaxing in this peaceful place
We return via Llanbedrog on the Southern route where there is time to visit the art gallery at Oriel Plas Glyn y Weddw and take afternoon tea in the beautiful gardens overlooking the bay, explore the church or walk down the wooded approach to the beach.
We hope you will join us in this beautiful part of the world
